Foundation of Women in Agriculture Development (FOWIAD)

FOWIAD is a NGO operating in East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea.                                                                                                      It was established in 1998 and its activities include:

  • Skill Training,

  • Network Farm Marketing

  • wholesale marketing on coconut bi-products, pineapple, and non bi-products

  • micro finance services.

With over 3,000 members, and 15 associations FOWIAD has a direct access to skill personnel based at the village level and it holds a strong network and ties with the local health services in the East Sepik Province as well as government officials and other important stake holders.

  • FOWIAD has formed an Interim Committee (Catholic, AOG, FOWIAD, Health Dept, Youth & Women’s Rep) and has Government Minister support indicating the commitment of the local Papua New Guineans communities for this project.

  • FOWIAD will host the MAMCI team in the adopted community, providing facilities such as: Warehouse, workshop, accommodation and a temporary office.

  • FOWIAD will utilize their strong influence and valuable networks to support the program.

  • FOWIAD will play an important role in educating and training the team members about the local culture and tradition.


Assembly of God (AOG)

Assemblies of God World Missions represent a growing organization scattered throughout 212 countries and territories. Among their activities their dedicated men and women work with developing cities, urban areas and remote villages in a wide range of sectors such as health and education.

AOG will be providing MAMCI with the health centre facilities and infrastructure as well as the recruitment of clinical staff.
