| MAMCI was established in 2007 with the aim to set up a health center in the remote and neglected region of Hayfield in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
The program included the collection of redundant medical equipment from hospitals around Queensland, maintaining, repairing and distributing it along with spare parts, knowledge and training facilities to those communities who desperately needed them.
This is a Short Video of the MAMCI mission; it depicts the health situation of the rural Papua New Guinean people.
The footage has been taken during the investigation trip to the East Sepik district of PNG. The trip was conducted to assess and identify possible locations for a rural Medical
Center.
The MAMCI Co founders Achi Kushnir and Taewon Kong had seen the conditions of hospitals and communities firsthand. Equipped with their experience and their passion from their life changing journey, they realized how much this project can offer for students and young professionals who want to make a difference and further their own learning while bringing huge benefits to impoverished people who really need a lot of help.
